We're not your typical junior golf program!
Founded in 1989 by a woman who dreamed of sharing her love
for the game of golf with her two daughters, we've grown into a community of more than 90,000
girls across the globe who are learning and loving the game! Run in partnership between
the LPGA Foundation and the USGA (United States Golf Association), LPGA*USGA Girls Golf (Girls
Golf) is a non-profit 501-c3 junior golf program with sites in more than 500 communities across
the country.
Girls Golf sites provide girls with quality golf instruction led by LPGA and PGA teaching
professionals or certified coaches from The First Tee. Not only are
they experts in taking girls from beginner to advanced golfers, but they also specialize in
creating experiences that show girls just how much fun golf really is!
What could be better than that? Well, Girls Golf members learn more than just the game of golf.
We help empower them with confidence and teach them valuable life skills. From Leadership skills
to inspiring healthy living, we use the Five E's of Girls Golf to
Empower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, and Energize girls through the game of golf.

Testimonials
"I truly value the time that I spent with my LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program. The
opportunity to meet other players gave me the drive to become a better golfer. The program made
me realize that, if I worked hard enough, I could achieve my dream and play collegiate golf."
Jamie
Girls Golf Alumna
"Before joining our local program, my daughter felt very alone and did not want to
participate in group activities. Now she not only attends all lessons, but she also asks to go
practice with her friends in the off-season!"
Karen
Parent
"The clinics, mini-tournaments, and trips to LPGA tournaments were a blast! I
encourage every girl who wants to play golf to join this program. You will walk away with great
memories and new friends!"
Courtney
Girls Golf Member
"Golf Teaches amazing life skills like time management, dedication, and perseverance.
One of our former members is a prime example of how practicing in this program has taught her
all of the aforementioned. She's gone on to college on a golf scholarship but continues to
return every year to volunteer with our program. She is a wonderful mentor and role model to our
current members."
